Our owner Colby Burmeister, aka “The Roof Meister” leads our company with integrity and professionalism. Colby grew up in southeast Missouri where his father ran a metal roofing, gutter, and siding company. Every summer Colby was on roofs helping his dad. Colby moved to West TN his senior year of high school. After high school he joined the local police department. Colby served West TN in Law Enforcement for over 10 years.

After his 10 years of service, Colby decided to get back into Roofing (it must be in his blood). It’s what his dad did and his grandfather. He was hired by a local roofing company, and it wasn’t long before he was running the whole roofing company. Colby spent that time learning the ins and outs of the business. The details he didn’t learn growing up working as a grunt carry materials for his father. Colby ran that company for two years before he decided to start his own.

With the experience that he had gained and the lessons he learned through his law enforcement career, has rounded him into a great leader. The attention to detail, the ability to deal and talk to people, the ability to adapt to changing situations and issues that arise from the years of law enforcement. The experience in roofing as a teenager, to know what works and what doesn’t, has built him into the leader he is today.

Colby thrives to teach and implement these lessons with our entire team. You can tell it shows. Our Mission is to serve and to be of service. For that you must have a servant’s heart, and Colby wouldn’t have had the career’s he’s had if he didn’t.

The truth behind “The Roof Meister”

Did you know that Colby Burmeister is the only Burmeister’s in West TN. His family mainly originates from St. Louis Missouri and Southeast Missouri. Colby’s Grandfather Don Burmeister ran a Roofing Company called Burmeister and Son’s Roofing and Construction. He ran this company out of St. Louis Missouri during the 1970-2000’s. Colby’s father ran a roofing, gutter, and siding company out of Doniphan Missouri from the 2000’s- 2020’s. Colby decided to name his company after the company his grandfather started those many years ago. Grandpa Don passed away 2005. We know he’d be proud.
